HALLOWEEN SKELETONS
BUYING GUIDE
Previously, to add
a realistic skeleton to your Halloween festivities you'd have to buy one from a medical
supply company, and it would cost you well over five-hundred dollars. Because of the high cost, most
people have had to resort to cheap plastic skeletons.
Halloween enthusiasts tend to buy their Halloween
decorations and props in one of two ways. They either spend
their Halloween budget on a larger amount of lower
quality products, or buy a smaller amount of higher quality
products. Personally, we would rather have a smaller haunt filled
with high quality, realistic looking props and decorations,
than the other way around. Below is our #1 recommended skeleton for
Halloween.
The Anatomical Chart Company is the primary manufacturer of anatomically correct charts,
bones, skulls and skeletons for use in universities, hospitals, medical schools,
and the government. As they manufacture the bones and assemble the skeletons some
become damaged, marked or discolored to some degree. In the
manufacturing industry these are commonly called "seconds,
thirds or fourths". For those who love Halloween, they now offer a positively ghoulish selection of
these imperfect, but very useable skeletons, skulls and bones, and best of all they sell them
at cut-rate prices.
If you want to add some realism to your Halloween festivities with a life-like skeleton,
then the Anatomical Chart Company is the place to go, and it won't cost you an arm and a
leg! For around one-hundred and sixty dollars, the Budget Bucky Skeleton (4th quality) is a fantastic deal. It is
life-size skeleton standing a full five foot, six inches tall, and weighs in at
seventeen
pounds. This adult skeleton
features a hanging hook at the top of the skull, jointed arms and legs,
and a movable jaw.
Bucky skeletons are available from the
Anatomical
Chart Company.
They
also sell a large variety of life-size skulls in a wide range of prices to fit just about anyone's
Halloween budget. They range from around seven dollars to thirty dollars in
price depending on the quality
your looking for or your need.
The Budget Life-Size Skull is an adult size skull featuring a movable
jaw and removable calvarium (top part of the skull), and retails for around thirteen
dollars, making
it an ideal addition to your Halloween prop collection. Skulls can be
used in your graveyard, set next to pumpkins, as part of a
larger display, even as a dining room table center-piece
with the calvarium removed and Halloween treats placed
inside the skull.
Skulls are available from the
Anatomical
Chart Company.
You can even buy
bags of bulk bones by the pound!
The Anatomical Chart Company's "Bone #1" package contains approximately
ten pounds of assorted 4th
quality bones including a life-size skull, humerus, hand, hip bone,
sacrum, foot, lower jaw, clavicle, ribs, vertebrae, arm and leg bones in
various sizes from life-size to mini.
We like to fill a large plastic cauldron with a bag of these and
set it on the porch for a very spooky decoration. Remember, these are seconds and
some may need touching up. Bags of bones are available from the
Anatomical
Chart Company.
